Psychological First Aid (PFA) Workshop
When: 9.30am - 4.30pm, Friday 19 April 2024
Where: Mary MacKillop Place, 7 Mount Street, North Sydney
Cost: Non NALAG members $350 (including GST) per person, NALAG members free
Psychological First Aid (PFA) is designed to provide evidence informed interventions used to reduce the initial distress caused by traumatic events. PFA is a humane supportive response to another person who is suffering and in need of support.

This one day workshop is a face to face event, including small group and role play activities to support confidence in implementing PFA principles.
Basic Loss and Grief Support Training (Online)
When: 9am-12:30pm 5, 6 & 7 June 2024
Where: Online (via Zoom)
Cost: $300 (including GST) for NALAG members, $350 for non NALAG members
Learn what to say and how to care for someone who is grieving in this online introductory course. Participants will explore reactions to loss and the grief process, and develop skills to effectively support someone who is grieving.
'Working with Groups' Training (Dubbo)
When: 9am-4:30pm, TBA
Where: NALAG Dubbo, 7 Welchman Street, Dubbo NSW
Cost: $300 (including GST)
This one-day training course provides participants with the opportunity to develop and enhance their knowledge of group dynamics and facilitation and apply that knowledge in practical situations.
