NALAG recognises that respecting user privacy over the Internet is of utmost importance. This privacy statement is designed to provide information about the privacy and data collection practices for the site: www.nalag.org.au. The Site is operated by NALAG NSW Inc.

Identifying Information

In general, you can visit the Site without telling us who you are or providing any information about yourself. In some areas of the Site, we ask you to provide information that will enable us to process an order, offer services that require registration, assist you with technical support issues or to follow up with you. In these instances, NALAG will ask for your name, address, e-mail address and phone number. In all instances, if you receive a newsletter or other mailing from us, you will always be able to "unsubscribe" to these mailings at any time.

What NALAG will Do With Your Information

If you choose to give us personal information for any of the purposes above, this information is retained by NALAG and will only be used by NALAG to support your customer relationship with us. We will not add you to a mailing list, or newsletter without your registration for this service. We will only contact you if further information is required from you to complete a service.

What Others May Do With Your Information

NALAG does not share, rent, or sell any personally identifying information provided through our Site (such as your name or email address) to any outside organisation other than the Volunteer Rescue Association. From time to time NALAG may use agents or contractors who will have access to your personal information to perform services for NALAG, however, they are required by us to keep the information confidential and may not use it for any purpose other than to carry out the services for NALAG. In addition, NALAG may also share aggregate information about its customers and its web site visitors to advertisers, business partners, and other third parties. For example, we might share that our users are x percent PCs users and y percent Macintosh users. None of this information, however, will contain personal, identifying information about our users.

NALAG does provide links to other sites. Other Internet sites and services have separate privacy and data collection practices. Once you leave www.nalag.org.au, NALAG cannot control, and has no responsibility for, the privacy policies or data collection activities at another site.

At times, we will use a feature on your web browser to send your computer a "cookie". We do not use cookies to retrieve any personal information from your computer. We only use cookies to learn ways to enhance our Sites, and to give you better, more personalized service while in our web site. You can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or indicate when a cookie is sent. However, some functions of the Sites will not function if you refuse cookies. Children's Privacy Protection

NALAG is sensitive to the heightened need to protect the privacy of children under the age of 13. The vast majority of the material on our web site is not intended for children and is not targeted to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children and, if we learn that we have received personal data from a child, we will remove this information from our database.

Changes to this Policy

NALAG may from time to time revise its privacy policy. You should therefore periodically visit this page, so you are aware of any such revisions. We know customers are concerned about credit card security. We use one of the worlds largest funds transfer agencies - PayPal.
If you choose to use PayPal as a payment method, your personal credit card information will not be given to NALAG.

The NALAG Web Site is comprised of various web pages operated by National Association for Loss and Grief (NSW) Inc.

The NALAG Web Site is offered to you conditioned on your acceptance without modification of the terms, conditions, and notices contained herein. Your use of the NALAG Web Site constitutes your agreement to all such terms, conditions, and notices.

NALAG reserves the right to change the terms, conditions and notices under which the NALAG Web Site is offered, including but not limited to the charges associated with the use of the NALAG Web Site.

EDUCATION & TRAINING EVENTS - TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Cancellation and Refund Policy

NALAG (NSW) Inc reserves the right to cancel education programs (up to 1 week before the commencement date) that do not achieve minimum occupation rates in which case all fees paid will be refunded. NALAG will not be liable for any travel and/or accommodation costs incurred by registered participants to attend programs that are cancelled.

An administration fee of 25% of the registration fee will apply to cancellations by a participant up to 14 days prior to seminar or workshop commencement. For cancellations between seven and 14 days prior to the seminar or workshop, a 50% administration fee will be charged. NO refund will be made for cancellations less than 7 days prior to seminar or workshop. A substitute participant can be sent in your place at any time, please advise us of this change.

PURCHASE OF GOODS OR MATERIALS - TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Product Information

The description and prices of goods and materials, postage and handling fee and other charges displayed of the NALAG website are current at the time of display. The description and prices are subject to variation without notice. NALAG will endeavour to maintain accurate product descriptions and pricing.

Placing and Accepting Orders

Placement of an order by you constitutes an offer to enter into an agreement with us ('your offer"). We will email you an Order Confirmation for the sole purpose of confirming the details of your offer. It is your responsibility to ensure that the order details are correct. Please note, that our Order Confirmation does not constitute an acceptance of your offer or reflect the status of your order in any way.

Payment Methods

NALAG accepts Paypal as it's only online payment method. Alternatively, all resources and event fees can be paid by cash or EFTPOS from the NALAG Head Office

Delivery

It is your obligation to enter the correct delivery address details at the time of ordering. Should you enter the wrong address, NALAG accepts no responsibility to resend the order to the correct address at our expense. If you require the order to be resent, we will require written confirmation of the correct address and payment of the additional postage and handling fee received in full.

It is the responsibility of the customer to inform NALAG if an order does not arrive. If NALAG is advised that and order has not arrived by the anticipated date, NALAG will make enquiries with the courier to ensure delivery occurs as soon as possible. NALAG accepts no liability for any loss or damage resulting from late delivery.

Please note, that if any goods or materials have been lost in transit, NALAG reserves the right to despatch replacement goods or materials at its discretion.

NALAG NSW MEMBERSHIP - TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Membership Period

The annual NALAG NSW membership period is from 1 July through until 30 June the following year.

Membership Cancellation and Refund Policy

You may cancel your NALAG NSW membership at any time by emailing info@nalag.org.au however all membership payments are non-refundable.
