NALAG Centre for Loss & Grief Dubbo
Outreaching to the
Central West including Dubbo, Parkes,
Narromine, Trangie, Gilgandra, Coonamble, Bourke,
Walgett, Lightning Ridge and Coonabarabran,
the NALAG Centre for Loss & Grief in Dubbo is
staffed by 2 full time employees (Manager and
Education and Promotions Officer) 2 part time staff
(Administration and Book Keeping) and employs
contractors such as psychologists and counsellors.
The Centre is also supported by over 60 volunteers.
NALAG Belligen/Nambucca Shires Branch - Miindala
Outreaching to
Bellingen, Dorrigo, Repton, Mylestrom, Urunga, Valla,
Nambucca and Macksville, the NALAG Bellingen/Nambucca
Branch has
a volunteer coordinator and over 20 volunteers who
provide grief support.
NALAG Mid North Coast Branch
Outreaching to Taree, Foster, Tuncurry,
Gloucester and Hawkes Nest, NALAG Mid North
Coast has a volunteer coordinator/president and is
supported by over 15 volunteers who provide grief
support.
NALAG Central Coast Branch
Outreaching to Gosford, Wyong, Woy Woy, Umina
and Ettalong, NALAG Central Coast Branch can
provide information and awareness on grief, loss and
bereavement.Currently the NALAG Central Coast Branch
are not provising grief support but can refer to
local services or the NALAG Centre in Dubbo.
NALAG Gunnedah and District Loss & Grief Branch
Outreaching to
Gunnedah, Tawmorth, Boggabri, Curlewis, Carroll,
Mullaley and Tambar Springs, NALAG Gunnedah
and District Branch can provide information and
awareness on grief, loss and bereavement. Currently
the Gunnedah Branch are not providing grief support
but can refer to local services or the NALAG Centre
in Dubbo.
NALAG Telephone Grief Support Branch - Sydney
The
NALAG Grief Support Branch provides telephone grief
support, awareness and education in the area of
loss, grief, bereavement and trauma. The Branch
outreaches telephone grief support Australia wide
for the cost of a local call - costs higher from
mobile phones.
